A.H.M.A.D.

A.H.M.A.D. is a Los Angeles based Rock Band that was named after it's founding member, guitar player and songwriter "A.H.M.A.D.". The band has generated much excitement since it's formation! He was soon joined by John Grundbäck on Bass, Jack Burton on Drums, and Erika Renee on vocals. The band tours occasionally w/ Johnny B. Frank (from Kingdom Come) on the Bass.

Throughout the years, shows and releases A.H.M.A.D. has earned a loyal fan following of 100,000 + fans on facebook, twitter, myspace

In 2012 they recently ranked #1 in the Slash Guitar Center competition.

A.H.M.A.D. has toured the United States supporting acts such as Dizzy Reed from Guns N Roses, Dokken, Stephen Pearcy from RATT, Faster Pussycat, Love/Hate...etc

They have been making noise since they started and after seeing them on stage I can understand why. Hookers N Blow

When Dizzy is not touring or recording with Guns N' Roses, Reed frequently tours with his hard rock cover band Hookers N' Blow, in which he plays keyboard and guitar and occasionally sings lead vocals. For his work with Hookers N' Blow, Reed was named Outstanding Keyboardist of the Year at the 2007 Rock City Awards ("Rockies"). Hookers N' Blow was also named Best Cover Band.

Originally formed in early 2004 by GUNS-N-ROSES keyboardist DIZZY REED, HOOKERS-N-BLOW seemed like a great way to have some fun and get free drinks in Hollywood. Little did anyone know that almost 5 years later the "band" that was formed for a few weekend fly-outs would become a cult figure in the GN'R world and one of the most fun and unique "All Star" cover bands in the country."The response has been overwhelming", says guitarist Alex Grossi (ex-BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, QUIET RIOT),"You forget just how big Guns N Roses are, not to mention that Dizzy has been a member and co-writer of GN'R for 16 years now."

HOOKERS-N-BLOW'S set list is comprised of many GUNS-N-ROSES hits including some deeper cuts from the USE YOUR ILLUSION I and II records, along with a mix of classic rock standards. The band will also be performing some new music from REED, including music from "THE STILL LIFE" soundtrack (a movie which Dizzy recently wrote music for). The band's energy is infectious. From the first song, it is apparent how much they enjoy playing together and it does not take long for the audience to become as much a part of the show as the 5 guys on stage. "You never know what is gonna happen" says Dizzy, "and that's what makes it so fun".
